CTW Spring play – WWII revue : 10 January for read-through

5 Jan

Hi everyone! Hoping you all had a relaxing, enjoyable, exciting, peaceful or at least happy Christmas!

This Spring we are proposing something different: it’s a revue written by Rex Walford entitled “It’s a Lovely Day Tomorrow!”. Based around World War II, it has singing, dancing and of course a strong cast of actors – if you enjoyed the panto you will love this.

It is to be directed by Gloria Milne, whose production of “Brassed Off” two years ago was such an exhilarating and memorable experience. The action centres on a family of four, with a goodly supporting cast. All Rex’s creations have been a delight to perform, and this has the added bonus of being a world premiere!

So if you want to be part of this ground-breaking event, please note these dates in your diary, and come along at the relevant times: Tuesday 10 January 2012 – Social Evening and Read-through Friday 13 January – Auditions Tuesday 17 January – Technical Production meeting Friday 20 January – First rehearsal Wednesday 18 to Saturday 21 April – Dates of production Don’t miss out!

From the Committee.
